We are offering a children's book about a Platypus Picnic encompassing a catchy tune and illustrated with Australian animals.  The pictures of the book are co-ordinated with the verses of the song "Platypus Picnic" and there are two QR Codes that enable the downloading of MP3 files of the song and the spoken verses.  The book also includes a printed music sheet, a glossary of animals and other elements of the story, and a picture of the band.  Enjoy listening to the story, singing along, or playing along with your favorite musical instrument.

This book can be used in a preschool, or with children of 3 to 4 years old, prior to Kindergarten and all the way up to about 8 years old. It is a book mainly for entertainment, but it also teaches about the animals in Australia, as well as musical instruments and styles of music, like hip hop and zydeco.
